Utility Chest

This unique asymmetrical design is scaled down from the original Shaker cupboard made in Enfield, CT (circa 1825-1850) and shown in the Whitney Museum of American Art in 1986. Pictured here made of Pine with an Ocher-yellow stain, similar to the original. Our standard dimensions for the Utility Chest recreated here are 17” D x 31” W x 70” H. The asymmetrical small drawers give the piece an unusual grace.
